Shaikh Abdur Rahman Chowdhury is the dedicated Hifdh Incharge at Ummul Qura Islamic School, bringing a deep passion for Qur’anic education and Islamic scholarship. He holds a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, specializing in Fiqh, Hadith, and other core Islamic sciences, from Al Jamia Al Ahlia Darul Uloom Moinul Islam Hathazari (Arabic University).
With a strong background in both teaching and memorization of the Qur’an, Shaikh Abdur Rahman has served in various educational roles. He was a Hifdh teacher at Darul Hikmah for one year and later took on the role of Hifdh Instructor and Alim Course Teacher at the ICC Islamic Center in Centerville, Ohio. These experiences have shaped his dynamic and student-centered approach to Islamic education.
At Ummul Qura, he leads the Hifdh program with commitment and care, helping students not only memorize the Qur’an but also connect deeply with its meaning and message. His teaching is driven by a genuine love for the Qur’an and a heartfelt desire to see each student grow spiritually and academically.
