Ustadha Narjis Mohammed Fatah is a dedicated educator who currently teaches Math, Qaa’idah, and Islamic Studies at Ummul Qura Islamic School. Her teaching spans a wide range of grade levels—from Pre-K through Grade 12—where she adapts lessons to suit varying ages and abilities while nurturing both academic growth and spiritual development.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and is certified in Al-Qaidah An-Nuraniyah through instruction from both Sheikh Mohammed Al-Ra’i in Saudi Arabia and MESBA (Maktab Education Service Board of America). Additionally, she has earned an Ijazah in Qira’at Hafs ’an ’Asim, underscoring her deep expertise in Quranic recitation and traditional Islamic instruction.
Since beginning her teaching career in 2011, Ustadha Narjis has taught in diverse educational settings including Tanzeel Academy and Manara STEM Academy. Her experience includes Arabic instruction, Quran memorization, and Islamic Studies, where she has consistently created engaging, faith-integrated lessons tailored to her students’ backgrounds and learning styles.
Her passion lies in teaching Arabic, Math, Islamic Studies, and Quran, with a focus on making learning meaningful and spiritually enriching. Guided by a student-centered philosophy, she strives to build a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth. Her goal is to help students become confident, grounded individuals who excel both academically and spiritually.
