With a diverse background in both academic and Islamic education, Ustadhah Aysha brings a well-rounded and holistic approach to her teaching.

Aysha’s educational journey began through homeschooling, where she completed her elementary and middle school education. She later pursued advanced Islamic studies through the Alimiyyah Program at Jamea Al Kauthar in Lancaster, England, and completed the program in Buffalo, New York—earning a Master’s-level education in Islamic Law, Theology, and Sciences. She further enhanced her skills in Arabic at the Fajr Center of Arabic Language (online) and studied specialized topics like the Fiqh of Halal Food and the Fiqh of Women through Al Balagh Academy in England. She also holds a teaching certification from MESBA.

With over seven years of experience teaching in Maktabs and schools across California and Texas, Aysha has been deeply involved in Islamic education and community outreach. She played a key role in establishing an Alimiyyah program in Richmond, California, where she oversaw curriculum development, lesson planning, scheduling, and exams. Her teaching experience includes Qa’idah, Qur’an, Islamic Studies, and women’s Tafsir and Fiqh classes, delivered both in person and online.

Her areas of expertise include English Language Arts, Social Studies, Islamic Studies, Arabic grammar for beginners, Qur’an translation, and curriculum design. Fluent in English, Bengali, Urdu, and Arabic, she is well-equipped to connect with a diverse student body. Ustadhah Aysha’s teaching philosophy is rooted in accessibility, clarity, and engagement—ensuring that all learners can meaningfully connect with both academic content and Islamic knowledge in a way that enriches their faith and daily lives.
