June 2 – July 18 | Monday–Friday
This summer, Ummul Qura Islamic School proudly hosted our annual Summer Quran Intensive Program 2025, an enriching seven-week journey filled with Qur’an, Islamic studies, meaningful friendships, and spiritual growth.
Alhamdulillah, we had 50+ students enrolled, ranging from Pre-K (4 years old) to 12th grade, boys and girls alike. Students were grouped by age and gender to ensure a comfortable and effective learning environment. Our classrooms were buzzing with the sound of Qur’an recitation, laughter, learning, and engagement.
Special Method for Teaching Qa’idah: MESBA Program
One of the highlights of our summer program is our unique and highly effective method of teaching the Qa’idah, using the MESBA Program. This structured system ensures that students learn the Arabic letters and pronunciation rules in a way that is both memorable and accurate, so they retain it for life, Insha Allah.
We implemented checkpoint testing after each lesson, allowing teachers to ensure that students have mastered the content before moving forward.
Masha’Allah, students performed exceptionally well in these assessments, showing not just progress, but true understanding. This strong foundation prepares them to confidently move forward into Qur’an reading and memorization.
Structured Learning for All Ages
We organized our program into multiple classes:
• Pre-K & Kindergarten: 1 large class
• Boys (1st grade and up): 3 classes
• Girls (1st grade and up): 2 classes
Each class followed a tailored lesson plan designed to maximize learning in a short span of time.

Our youngest students began their Islamic journey by:
• Learning Arabic letters, sounds, and basic harakaat (fatha, kasra, dhamma)

• Preparing for and participating in the End-of-Year Ceremony
End-of-Year Ceremony – July 19
To celebrate the students’ hard work, we hosted a beautiful End-of-Year Ceremony. Each class presented highlights of what they learned:
• Hadith memorization
• Masnoon du’as
• Nasheeds such as the 99 Names of Allah and Alif to Yaa
• Fiqh Q&A sessions led by students
The event was a heartwarming reminder of how much can be learned in just a few weeks with the right environment, dedication, and Islamic spirit.
Looking Ahead
We are incredibly proud of our students and thankful to the families who entrusted us with their children’s summer. The growth we witnessed—spiritually, academically, and emotionally—was beyond inspiring.
We pray that these young learners continue to build on this foundation and that even more families will join us for our upcoming academic year, Insha Allah.
Enrollment for 2025-2026 is now open!
Come be a part of our growing family at Ummul Qura Islamic School.
