Ramadan and Eid event

At Ummul Qura Islamic School, we believe in nurturing the heart as much as the mind. Our recent Ramadan and Aid activity day was a beautiful reflection of that vision. While not an actual Eid day, the atmosphere was filled with festive joy as students immersed themselves in creative, educational, and spiritual experiences that brought our school community closer together.

The classrooms buzzed with laughter and color as students created handmade Eid Mubarak cards, sketched festive drawings, and proudly showed off their artwork. Others shared stories, sweets, and small gifts with friends, creating heartfelt memories of togetherness. During story time, our young learners sat in a circle, reflecting quietly on meaningful lessons from Ramadan—an experience that blended both learning and joy.

These activities are not just about fun—they’re about building Islamic identity, strengthening community, and instilling a love for the deen from a young age. At UQIS, we understand the unique challenges Muslim families face, especially in areas with limited access to Islamic education. That’s why we’re committed to providing not just academic excellence, but also spiritual enrichment in everything we do.

Alhamdulillah, since our launch in 2023, we’ve been blessed to grow steadily—thanks to the dedication of our qualified teachers and the generous support of our community. With over 68 students enrolled and many more joining our seasonal programs, we’re excited to continue building a future rooted in knowledge, faith, and unity.
